I first became a Swiftie back in 2007. In my art class we were allowed to listen to what music we wanted to and one of my classmates brought in Taylor's first album. I fell in love with her music pretty quickly and haven't stopped ever since. I asked my parents for her album for Christmas that year and got the deluxe version. My favorite song from the album to this day "I'm Only Me When I'm with You."
My first album I got of hers on release day was Fearless and I have gotten every one since on release day. Fearless is her album I'm most nostalgic for because of being able to experience the lead up to its release. I also remember being so excited to have a song about being fifteen when I was just about to turn fifteen in a couple of months. I actively followed her online at the time too and loved finding songs that were not released on her cds. Such as "Lucky You," "Sparks Fly," and my favorite "I'd Lie." Needless to say I was quite excited with "Sparks Fly" was released on Speak Now in 2010 and hoped one day we'd get "I'd Lie" on one of them too.
Taylor Swift has been my favorite singer ever since 2007 and I've loved seeing how her music as evolved over all those years. I look forward to seeing where she will go from here. Here's to plenty more years.
