Book 78: Thor & Loki: Double Trouble

By Mariko Tamaki

Read on July 9th

📚📚📚📚

This was a fun story following a younger Thor and Loki. I love Loki’s antics, and this one had a lot of that and just his mischievous self.

Book 79: Lore Olympus: Volume 2

By Rachel Smythe

Read on July 9th

📚📚📚📚

This was a great addition to the Lore Olympus graphic novels. I enjoyed this volume even more than the first and am eagerly waiting for the third volume to be released.

Book 80: Daughters of Sparta

By Claire Heywood

Read on July 9th-10th

📚📚📚📚

I liked this look into the two princesses of Sparta: Klytemnestra and Helen. The trend that is going on of putting the women of the Greek myths as protagonists of their own stories is excellent! This book was not as enjoyable for me as some of the others I have read, but I really liked following Klytemnestra and Helen for most of this book. They were both characters whose stories I knew very well already, but the voices they were given were beautiful, and their story in this book was heartbreaking at times.

I will definitely be picking up Claire Heywood's next book.
